Presidential 2027. “I will be a candidate”, announces the president of Reconquête Éric Zemmour

Five years later, he is back. Éric Zemmour announced this Thursday on BFMTV that he will be a candidate in the 2027 presidential election. The founder of the far-right Reconquête party was the guest of the show “Face à BFM” on BFMTV.

Asked about his first participation in 2022, he admitted that his score was “a disappointment” compared to the encouraging polls of the preceding months. “ On the other hand, to achieve 7% when we were not a politician before, it is quite astonishing, and quite remarkable, I did not launch into this battle five years ago to make a political career, I am not a politician, I launched into this battle to save France from the great replacement,” he explained. The president of Reconquest then launched: “I will be a presidential candidate”.
