Presidents Cup results Saturday, live updates: International team heads into weekend in Medina after sweep

The American team has work to do.

The International team once again swept Friday’s foursomes sessions to take a 7-3 lead midway through the Presidents Cup at Medinah Country Club in Chicago. That matches their biggest lead over the Americans after two sessions since 1998, the only other year they managed to upset the United States and win the cup.

Fortunately for the Americans, they have plenty of time to bounce back.

Saturday will feature two sessions, with four-ball matches in the morning and four-ball matches in the afternoon.

Then on Sunday, the 24 golfers will compete in singles matches. The first team to 15.5 points wins, even if the international team only needs 8.5 points with three sessions remaining.
