Presidents Cup results Saturday, live updates: USA takes international lead ahead of afternoon foursomes
The U.S. team advanced in Presidents Cup fourball matches Saturday morning at Medinah Country Club in Chicago.
Heading into the weekend, trailing 7-3 against the international team, the pairs Scottie Scheffler/Sam Burns and Chris Gotterup/Cameron Young each won their respective matches to put valuable points on the board for the Americans. Justin Thomas and Jackson Koivun managed to take half a point against Min Wood Lee and Sungjae Im.

The international team of Tom Kim and Si Woo Kim improved to 3-0 together this week after defeating Collin Morikawa and Wyndham Clark.
The international team remains ahead of the United States with an 8.5 to 5.5 lead heading into the afternoon foursomes.
On Sunday, the 24 golfers will compete in singles matches. The first team to 15.5 points wins, even if the international team only needs 7 points with two sessions remaining.
