Pretty Little Liars Star Keegan Allen Reveals Stitches Following LA Armed Robbery
‘Pretty Little Liars’ star Keegan Allen revealed he needed stitches in his temple following a terrifying armed robbery in Los Angeles.
Allen, 37, shared a close-up photo on his Instagram Stories on Saturday showing two cuts on his face that required stitches, adding that he was “healing” and promising to share more updates soon.
“Thank you to the medical team (sic) and law enforcement and everyone who reached out ❤️,” he wrote.
The “Walker” actor was robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint Thursday night outside the upscale Laurel Supply grocery store in West Hollywood.
In an Instagram video, Allen described how he was ambushed by two masked men who threatened to kill him before stealing his watch.
“These two guys hit me in the head and pointed a gun at me with a knife and then they left,” he said in the clip, appearing with blood on his face, neck and clothes. “They wore masks and took my watch. They took my watch. Damn.”
Allen also included security footage of the attack in the video, which appeared to corroborate his account and showed two masked men approaching him in the parking lot as he appeared to load items into the backseat of his truck.
In the caption, the actor said “West Hollywood is no longer safe” and seemingly took aim at Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and California Governor Gavin Newsom for their approaches to fighting crime.
“Hopefully all these cameras that (Karen Bass), (Gavin Newsom) and everyone else think will stop crime can find these very dangerous criminals,” he wrote, adding, “God bless.”
911 dispatch audio obtained exclusively by Page Six captured Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies communicating about an “assault” at 8445 Santa Monica Blvd., the address for Laurel Supply, shortly before responding to the scene just after 9 p.m.
An LASD representative told Page Six that a call for service was made for a “theft.”
“Upon arrival, officers contacted an adult male who reported being approached by two adult males dressed in black clothing. One of the suspects pointed a silver handgun at the victim while the other pointed a knife and demanded the victim’s watch and bracelet,” the rep said in part.
Allen “suffered a laceration to his forehead” and was medically evaluated by Los Angeles County firefighters, who also responded to the scene. He was ultimately not taken to hospital.
Video obtained exclusively by Page Six showed law enforcement officers leaving Allen’s residence Friday afternoon, less than 24 hours after the attack.
A deputy at the scene told Page Six the investigation was “ongoing.”
