After a long day of royal duties, Prince William likes to relax in front of the subway.
The Prince of Wales opened up about his favorite movies and TV shows during a surprise appearance on “The Graham Norton Show” on Thursday, October 22. The episode, which also featured guests Cate Blanchett, Hannah Waddingham and Robert Irwin, is set to air on Friday.
When it comes to cinema, William told host Graham Norton that he loves “immersing himself in deep films”, adding: “I also like action films, but I like something a little bit different.”
The prince then said he was a “huge fan” of Oscar-winning director Christopher Nolan, known for provocative thrillers such as “Inception,” “Oppenheimer,” “The Odyssey” and “The Dark Knight” franchise.
“His films are fantastic,” William, 44, said of Nolan, according to Variety and People magazine. “‘The Dark Knight’ series is psychologically dark and deep, and I love it. It takes completely existing concepts and makes them incredibly entertaining.”

Despite his appreciation for the intellectual, Prince William is not averse to some feel-good entertainment.
The Prince of Wales, who shares children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis with his wife Princess Kate, said he and his children have a tradition of watching the British version of “The Traitors,” a reality series that pits a group of contestants against each other in a fierce game of social deduction.
“I love it, the family loves it. Charlotte and Louis are obsessed with it. It’s really good TV,” William said.

William shared that he freaked out his fans when he met British actor and “Celebrity Traitors” contestant Ross Kemp shortly after the show’s Season 2 premiere earlier this month.
“I couldn’t help but try – in the most appropriate way – to touch him to see what reaction I got from him,” William said. “Turns out he was really nervous!”
