Ravens QB Lamar Jackson’s injury update could impact Browns’ Week 6 chances
If Cleveland is able to continue its surprising start to the season, the team will need some good injury luck. Whether it’s fewer injuries for them or more injuries for their opponents, fans will want to keep an eye on the weekly injury reports.
While the Browns will have to prepare for the New York Jets in Week 5, the Ravens’ Week 6 game looms on the horizon and the AFC North co-leader is dealing with a QB injury. Lamar Jacksonwho left Week 4 with a walking boot due to an ankle injury.
An update from Baltimore HC Jesse Minter indicated there was a chance Jackson could play in Week 5, but the Ravens quarterback has been cautious in the timing of his return for most of his career. Minter’s language was vague:
Former Browns quarterback Tyler Huntley would likely take over for the Ravens, along with their former offensive coordinator now Cleveland’s head coach, Todd Monken.
We’ll continue to track Jackson’s injury status heading into the Browns vs. Ravens in Week 6.
Do you think Jackson will play against the Browns in 2 weeks? If not, how does this change your expectations?
