
‘Reacher’ Spinoff ‘Neagley’ Renewed for Season 2 on Amazon
Reach received a renewal at the start of season six earlier this week and Amazon followed up by bringing back its spinoff for another series.
Neagleystarring Maria Sten as Frances Neagley, has been renewed for a second season.
This comes two weeks after the series dropped all episodes.
Amazon said the show reached 40 million viewers in its first 13 days of service and became the fourth most-watched series, with more than half of its audience coming from international audiences, particularly in the UK, Germany and Brazil.
Based on the books by Lee Child, the first season follows Frances Neagley, a private investigator in Chicago and former military protégé of Jack Reacher in the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit. When she learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in a suspicious accident, she becomes determined to seek justice.
The series also stars Greyston Holt, Adeline Rudolph, Jasper Jones, Matthew Del Negro and Damon Herriman, with Alan Ritchson as Jack Reacher.
Neagley is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Amazon MGM Studios. The series was created by Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton, who serve as co-showrunners. The duo produces alongside Child, Don Granger, Sam Hill, Adam Higgs and Lisa Kussner, while Carolyn Harris, Kenny Madrid and Niko Fernandez are overseeing the project for Paramount Television Studios.
