Reality TV veterans mourn the loss of one of their own.
Anika Rashaunwho previously performed on MTV Seattle in the real world: bad blood and competed on The challengedied after a battle with breast cancer, her friend Tiare Ramos confirmed. She was 34 years old.
“I lost a piece of my soul when my best friend died,” Ramos wrote in a Substack article earlier this month. “Last summer, my best friend and sister was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. Her diagnosis was a shock.”
Rashaun’s childhood friend pointed out that the former reality star, who got married to her husband Kyle Rehn in February – lived life to the fullest.
“She was always unapologetically herself, so real in her positions, her beliefs, her convictions,” Ramos continued. “Her ability to get what she wanted, to convince you, to convince you, was one of a kind. The way she showed herself to her friends, fiercely loyal and loving to the end, was on a whole new level.”
Meanwhile, Rashaun’s reality TV family also shared their grief in the weeks following his passing.
