Report: Lamar Jackson has a ‘realistic chance’ of returning Week 6
Ravens head coach Jesse Minter told reporters on Monday that quarterback Lamar Jackson is “definitely doing better” after missing Week 5 with an ankle injury.
There is now an indication that he could be back after being out for just one game.
Jackson has a “realistic chance” to play against the Browns on Sunday, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Jackson didn’t practice last week, but Minter praised the quarterback for doing everything he could to return as quickly as possible.
In four games so far this season, Jackson has completed 70.8 percent of his passes for 967 yards with six touchdowns and one interception. He also rushed for 144 yards with a touchdown.
Jackson did not practice last week. The Ravens’ first injury report from Week 6 is expected to be released later Wednesday.
