Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley’s season is reportedly over.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports tests on Huntley’s toe showed a turf toe injury that will force him to miss the rest of the team’s games.
Huntley had already been ruled out for Thursday night’s game against the Jaguars, who have undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano in line to make his first NFL start. With Lamar Jackson dealing with a thumb injury that could also keep him out for the season, Fagnano could have an extended tenure at the starting job unless the Ravens choose to go in a different direction.
Kedon Slovis and Austin Reed are the other internal options, but both just signed with the team this week, so it’s not an ideal situation for the Ravens’ attempt to stay in the AFC playoff race.
