Saquon Barkley out, Jalen Hurts (calf) added to report but will play
The Eagles will be shorthanded again in Week 5, and their quarterback now has an injury problem – although it won’t keep him from playing.
Philadelphia has ruled out running back Saquon Barkley (hamstring), receiver DeVonta Smith (hamstring), receiver Marquise Brown (ankle), safety Marcus Epps (groin) and offensive lineman Drew Kendall (knee).
Quarterback Jalen Hurts was added to the report due to a calf injury as a full participant, but he has no game status for Sunday and is expected to play.
Tight end EJ Jenkins (toe) was also added to the report and is expected to play.
Despite not practicing all week, outside linebacker Jonathan Greenard (ankle) is questionable for the competition.
Linebacker Zack Baun (concussion) and tight end Dallas Goedert (knee) will both return, as they were each full participants Friday and are not listed on the injury report.
Linebacker Jihaad Campbell (knee), outside linebacker AJ Epenesa (back), offensive tackle Fred Johnson (knee), cornerback Quinton Mitchell (knee) and receiver Dontayvion Wicks (hamstring) are all listed off the injury report and are ready to play.
