Scarlett Johansson’s latest look may be the perfect red carpet ensemble, but it also seems quite personal. The actress appeared at the screening of the film Ray Gunn at the London Film Festival on October 10, where she wore a scarlet red dress that highlighted her significant back tattoos.

The 41-year-old actress posed on the red carpet in a bright red strapless dress by Hermès. It featured a ruched bust and a sculptural balloon midi skirt, plus pockets! She paired the simple dress with matching glowing strappy heeled sandals and a gold pendant necklace. Meanwhile, she wore her blunt blonde bob in simple waves and a center part.

The dress highlighted her large back tattoos.

The pink-red dress highlighted the actress’s large back tattoos, which, by the way, depict a row of roses on a vine with a gentle lamb. According to HuffPostthe tattoo is a nod to her daughter Rose Dauriac, whom she shares with ex-husband Romain Dauriac. She also shares her son Cosmo with her husband Colin Jost.

In 2013, Johansson was asked how many tattoos she had. “I lost count,” she replied. In addition to her back tattoo, she also has a four-leaf clover on her finger. “I bought it on a trip to Ireland with a group of friends,” she said. Refinery29.
