Seattle Seahawks Injury Updates: Latest on Shaheed, Cross and More
Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald provided several injury updates during his weekly Monday morning appearance on Seattle Sports’ Brock & Salk.

Here’s a recap of what Macdonald said, plus additional reporting from an NFL insider.
• Macdonald said ‘early feedback is positive’ at wide receiver Rachid Shaheedwho injured his knee during Seattle’s 20-3 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night.
“Every time the knee gets hit, you hold your breath,” Macdonald said. “So for now, let’s just say it’s positive.”
• Left tackle Charles Cross suffered a sprained ankle in Sunday night’s game and will miss time, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported shortly after Macdonald’s appearance against Brock and Salk ended.
Rapoport reported that Cross could return in one to two weeks, depending on how rehabilitation goes.
• Macdonald said the running back Zach Charbonnet will practice “at full capacity” again this week, but did not say whether he would play in Monday night’s game against the Chicago Bears.
Last week, Charbonnet was removed from the physically unable to play list and participated fully in practice for the first time since undergoing ACL surgery on Feb. 20. However, the Seahawks ruled out Charbonnet last Friday for their game against the Chiefs.
“We are sticking to our plan,” Macdonald said. “He’s still going to train at full capacity, and then we’ll evaluate as the week goes on and from there. But he’s had a great week, in good spirits.”
• Macdonald said the running back Jadarian Prize will return to practice this week, but he doesn’t yet know if the rookie first-round pick will be able to play against the Bears next Monday night. Price has missed the last four games with a chest injury, but is eligible to be activated off injured reserve this week.
