A rare opportunity will soon be available for T-Mobile customers interested in a new iPad.
As noted in the T-Life app, T-Mobile will soon offer the Apple iPad A16 tablet for free (“On Us”) next week.
The offer is a bit unusual, as it will only be available for one day, Tuesday, October 27. It’s also unusual because it’s only announced in the T-Life app as part of T-Mobile Tuesdays.
The iPad A16 is Apple’s entry-level tablet with an 11-inch Liquid Retina display and, of course, the A16 processor. It includes 128 GB of storage and supports the Apple Pencil accessory. It doesn’t support the latest Apple Intelligence features, however (which may be a bonus for some).
T-Mobile’s one-day deal offers a total of $599.99 off (on a two- or three-year installment) on the iPad A16. This represents an additional $200 reduction from the current public promotion of $400.
The trap? You will need to add a compatible plan to the tablet. Currently, that’s about $20-$25 per month for the Tablet Essentials plan. Sources suggest that promotions like this are often not compatible with the $5/month Go5G Next/Experience Beyond tablet plans, but your mileage may vary.
The offer will be available on Tuesday October 27 in the T-Life application. If you are interested, be sure to take a look, as it will only be available for 24 hours.
