HOBART (NBC 26) – Newly released records show other women contacted the Hobart/Lawrence Police Department to report alleged physical incidents involving Packers running back Josh Jacobs.

These allegations are detailed in a heavily redacted Hobart-Lawrence Police Department file released Friday night on NBC 26, which also provides new details about the incident that led to Jacobs’ arrest in May. The department also released body and dashcam video of Jacobs’ arrest, which you can watch below.

Newly released police video shows arrest of Packers running back Josh Jacobs

A woman alleged an incident occurred nearly five years ago, in January 2022. She contacted police in June 2026 while investigating a more recent incident involving the Packers running back.

According to records, the woman, who has not been identified, contacted investigators in June after learning of the May investigation, telling police the allegations were similar to her previous experience with Jacobs. She said the incident was never reported to law enforcement. She said she contacted police when she thought her alleged experience with Jacobs might be relevant to the case and also because she wanted people to believe the woman involved in the May 2026 incident that led to Jacobs’ arrest.

According to records, the woman claims Jacobs slapped her in the face and then took her cell phone as she attempted to leave her residence. The woman told investigators that Jacobs grabbed her by the hair, threw her onto a bed, pinned her to the floor and then threw her to the ground. The woman also alleged that Jacobs spat on her and grabbed her by the throat.

The woman told police she first met Jacobs through Instagram and communicated with him for about six months before meeting him in person. She said she remained friends with him for a while after the incident and did not want to report him.

Another woman contacted police later that month, telling them that during an argument in April 2021, Jacobs grabbed her by the arms and biceps, pushed her against a wall near a window and threw her belongings outside the house. She said she suffered bruising to her arms and pain and swelling to her ribs.

The woman told Hobart/Lawrence police she called police at that point. She said she then contacted the police department anonymously and was told it was not being investigated as a domestic incident because she and Jacobs were not in a relationship at the time. Records posted to NBC 26 indicate that Hobart/Lawrence Police Department detectives received recordings of that call. These records indicated that responding officers observed no visible signs of injury, bruising or damage consistent with a physical altercation.

The woman indicated she had known Jacobs for about a year at the time of the incident, records show.

The report later described a phone call with a third woman in July who told Hobart/Lawrence police that in May 2022, Jacobs placed his hands on her head and neck, dragged her, scratched her chest and took possession of her cellphone after it fell to the ground. She said she suffered bruising on her arm and scratches on her chest that she said remained visible for about a month, records show.

The woman told Hobart/Lawrence police she did not report the incident to police or seek medical attention at the time. She said Jacobs told her she could be deported and because of that she didn’t think she could report the incident to law enforcement.

The report says police received the information about this woman from the original victim in the May 2026 case that led to Jacobs’ arrest and conviction.

The accounts surfaced during the department’s investigation into a May 23 incident at Jacobs’ Hobart home. In that case, the victim told investigators that Jacobs repeatedly held her down, obstructed her breathing and prevented her from leaving or calling police. During an interview, the victim told police she thought she was going to die. Officers observed redness and what appeared to be scratches on the victim’s head and scalp.

Jacobs was arrested May 26 and taken to the Brown County Jail without incident. He was later convicted of misdemeanor battery and criminal damage to property after pleading no contest.
