The office of Sen. Susan Collins, Republican of Maine, in Biddeford, Maine, was vandalized Monday evening for the second time in a month, Collins’ chief of staff told Fox News.
After vandals spray-painted the building’s door in September, saboteurs dumped a bucket of red paint in front of the place on Monday while writing in crimson — “BLOOD on his HANDS” — on the sidewalk in front of the building.
“This is another incident in a series and the second attempt by our Biddeford office to intimidate the senator and her staff. These tactics are concerning, but not effective. Our staff is undeterred and is on the job,” Katie Brown, Collins’ chief of staff, told Fox News’ Alexis McAdams.

Biddeford’s office is near the scene of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer-involved shooting in which a law enforcement officer fatally shot Johan Sebastián Guerrero, a 26-year-old Colombian national, in July.
Days after the shooting, protesters burst through the front door of Biddeford’s office, chanting “vote against her.”

Collins’ challenger for his U.S. Senate seat, former Democratic Sen. Troy Jackson, condemned the vandalism in a statement shared with Fox News Digital.
“There is no place for this in Maine. Vandalism and intimidation are unacceptable, period. Senator Collins and his team should be able to do their jobs without anyone defacing their office, and I condemn whoever did this,” Jackson said.
Jackson also condemned the September incident in another statement to Fox News Digital.
