T-Mobile’s new plans include redeemable subscription benefits
T-Mobile is launching new “T-Mix” plans that bundle wireless service with subscriptions to services like Netflix, Apple TV, YouTube Premium, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, device promotions, and more, as previously reported by Fierce Network. The Standard plan starts at $55/month (with autopay) for one line and one “Choice,” which you can change up to four times during the year without changing the cost of your plan.
The standard also offers up to 50GB of “premium” data, 480p video streaming, unlimited 3G hotspot connectivity and unlimited 2G in Canada and Mexico. Meanwhile, the mid-tier More plan starts at $75/month for one line, two choices per line, and unlimited data. It also adds up to 4K UHD video streaming, up to 60GB of high-speed hotspot data, and up to 15GB of high-speed data in Canada and Mexico.
The highest-tier Loaded plan, which starts at $95/month for one line, steps things up a bit further, offering access to up to three choices per line for the first three lines (T-Mobile caps this plan at 11 benefits in total). The Loaded plan also offers the same benefit of up to 4K UHD video streaming, as well as up to 250 GB of high-speed hotspot data and up to 30 GB of high-speed data in Canada and Mexico.
The types of benefits you can add vary depending on how many media your plan supports:
T-Mobile says you can change your benefits every 90 days, depending on Fierce Network. However, T-Mobile notes that how often you can change your benefits depends on the benefit you choose. “Some benefits let you switch at any time, others keep your choices for a quarter or more,” T-Mobile says, adding that some services will be charged if you switch outside the switching window. T-Mobile also offers an annual selection period during which you can reset all of your benefits.
