Texas vs. Tennessee score, live updates: Follow Week 4 college football as it happens

Here’s a look at all the ranked teams in action right now:

This will be enough for the first half. Both offenses slowed down a bit after a fast start to the game, but the Vols should feel good with the score at the break. They only have 3 points and 88 total yards; Texas has 7 penalties for 70 yards, but the Vols were unable to take advantage of them.

Tennessee will have the ball first as the second half begins.

The Vols were able to extend their drive because of that stupid unsportsmanlike conduct penalty given to Colin Simmons for pretending to urinate.

Ohio State-Illinois is still in the first half, but the Buckeyes receiver already has his third touchdown of the game and it may be his most impressive yet.

It’s a kick into the end zone to give OSU a 21-7 lead.

The talented freshman quarterback is back in the game after missing one series. He’s had his right shoulder looked at but he’s ready to go.

The Vols couldn’t do anything with George MacIntyre in the game for Faizon Brandon and had to turn the ball over to Texas.

The Longhorns will start at their own 38.

Arch Manning had thrown the ball well, but he just took a big chance by throwing a long ball to Cam Coleman in double coverage. Tennessee’s Kayin Lee was intercepted near his team’s goal line.

Tennessee’s star QB landed on his throwing shoulder after a big hit and he’s down and appears to be in a lot of pain.

Backup quarterback George MacIntyre was in the game, but the Vols couldn’t get anything going on third down and were forced to punt.

Arch Manning is on a roll early in this one, completing 8 of his first 9 passes. But the Longhorns couldn’t finish their final drive and had to settle for a short field goal from Gianni Spetic.

Texas 10, Tennessee 3

Possessions were few and far between in the first quarter; Texas had two, Tennessee had one.

The Longhorns are on the 7-yard line but will face a third-and-goal early in the second quarter.

The Longhorns were within scoring range and closing in on the red zone after a Ryan Wingo catch and run that featured several broken tackles.

There are 30 of them now.

The OSU receiver makes his second touchdown of the first quarter and it’s a long one. He caught a deep ball from Julian Sayin and just embarrassed an Illinois defender on his way to the end zone.

OSU 14, Illinois 0

If you heard a lot of static on the UT-UT show with Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit, you weren’t alone.

The Longhorns defense was able to hold its own in the red zone, so the Vols settled for a short field goal from Cooper Ranvier, who is a perfect 15 for 15 this season.

Texas 7, Tennessee 3

The Vols got past midfield in just a few plays after some big penalties from the Longhorns.

Tennessee is now in scoring range.

Meanwhile, in the Horseshoe, Ohio State had a drive and Jeremiah Smith had a touchdown.

The Longhorns found some ground on the game’s first drive, entering the end zone on a 9-yard touchdown run by Raleek Brown.

What a great start for Arch Manning and Texas.

Texas 7, Tennessee 0

Arch Manning just hit Emmett Mosley on a deep ball downfield for a 43-yard gain on the first drive of the game.

The Longhorns are now in the red zone.

The Vols won the toss and delayed so the Longhorns had the ball first at Neyland Stadium.
