Near the end of the episode, the steakhouse owner who buys all the beef takes the boys into a meeting room and tells them that the beef isn’t the real problem.
Apparently referring to the US midterm elections, she said: “People don’t care about cows, they care about this country. November comes and everyone is panicking because we have to choose who will be in charge when we are all faced with something we are not prepared for.”
She adds: “You want to know the truth? Then it’s time you saw the truth.” She then walks over to a television and turns it on, warning that “many good Americans have died to smuggle this to us.”

This is not the first time that video game sequences have appeared in South Park: previous episodes revolved around World of Warcraft (241 articles)” href=”https://www.videogameschronicle.com/games/world-of-warcraft/”>World of Warcraft and Guitar Hero.
This isn’t the first appearance of a Rockstar game either. When Red Dead Redemption 2 (248 articles)” href=”https://www.videogameschronicle.com/games/red-dead-redemption-2/”>Red Dead Redemption 2 was released, it became part of the plot of the episode Time to Get Cereal, in which Sergeant Yates is annoyed at having to investigate a report of a mutilated schoolboy because it interferes with his Red Dead 2 sessions.
