Given that New York Comic Con hosts a regional qualifier for the Cosplay Central Crown Championships every year, it’s no surprise that cosplayers bring their A-game to the convention. The Marvel characters got a lot of love (as always), but we also saw a beautifully detailed Qifrey from Witch hat workshopFirion of Final Fantasy II (in his Dissidie suit, for a very deep cut), and even a superb version of Krampus. Here’s the best cosplay we’ve seen from day one of New York Comic Con 2026.
