DUBLIN, Calif. — In a flurry of family court filings, the couple traded dire allegations in a bitter divorce battle with one indisputable fact: They had long been living a domestic nightmare.
Jonathan McKinsey claimed his wife of 15 years, Candice Jang, had “total control” over him and once bullied him into eating a dead cockroach. He said Jang’s mother ridiculed him for being transgender and blamed him when one of their young sons tried on girls’ clothes.
