
Timberline High School class withdraws after violent threats made against student
BOISE, Idaho — Students at Timberline High School walked out of class today in response to violent threats made against a female student.
Boise police confirmed to CBS2/FOX9 that officers are investigating a change.org petition alleging that members of the Timberline High School football team threatened to rape and murder a particular student.
Police officials said in their response that the people involved in the alleged group conversation were known to school resource officers and BPD investigators.
The Boise School District and Timberline High School announced they would postpone upcoming homecoming events in light of violent threats made against a female student, allegedly from members of the football team. The announcement comes days before a scheduled football game against Kuna High School.
