By Jason PowellEditor ProWrestling.net (@prowrestlingnet)
TNA on the road to glory
Tampa, Florida, at the Yuengling Center
Broadcast live on October 11, 2026, pay-per-view
-The pre-show featured the inductions of ODB, Amazing Red and Konnan into the TNA Hall of Fame. Frankie Kazarian inducted Red, who announced during his acceptance speech that he would be competing in the X Division championship match, which is now a seven-man match.
-Cruz Montana/Mike Santana inducted Konnan, who did not appear.
-ODB was inducted by Al Snow and Traci Brooks. ODB said his parents’ first date was an AWA event at the Minneapolis Auditorium. She also said that the Knockouts don’t get enough credit. “We started evolution before there was any damn evolution,” ODB said.
Powell’s view: Since the pre-show only lasted 30 minutes, the speeches were brief. Additionally, WrestleTix reported that the venue was scheduled for 2,483 people, with 2,271 tickets distributed. The total number of seats on the map is 9,440.
The main card opened with ring announcer McKenzie Mitchell introducing Aimée MaGee of Women of Rock, who performed the national anthem while standing in the ring… A Bound For Glory video package aired… Tom Hannifan and Matt Rehwoldt were on commentary…
Ricky Sosa entered for the opening match. The entrance of Eddie Edwards followed. Alisha Edwards accompanied Eddie, who wore a mask that he took off once in the ring…
1. Ricky Sosa vs. Eddie Edwards (w/Alisha Edwards). The referee wore a France jersey while Hannifan plugged in the sponsor. The bell rang and Eddie ran towards Sosa, who pulled up his boot. Shortly after, Eddie knocked Sosa off the apron. Eddie distracted the referee while Alisha jumped off the apron and took Sosa down with a tornado DDT.
Later, Sosa jumped off the floor and took the seated Eddie off the apron with a huracanrana. Sosa got back in the ring before going over the ropes and diving over the top rope onto Eddie on the floor. Sosa threw Eddie back inside the ring, then hit him with a springboard for a near fall.
Eddie came back with a clothesline and a powerbomb for a two count. Eddie performed a short arm clothesline and a tiger bomb for a near fall. Eddie finally charged a Boston Knee Party, but Sosa countered with a variation of a Michinoku Driver.
Sosa indicated he was about to perform his finisher, but he spotted Alisha on the ropes behind him. Alisha dove at Sosa, who caught her and performed a Blue Thunder Bomb. Eddie drilled Sosa with a Boston Knee Party. Moments later, Sosa avoided Eddie’s moonsault. Sosa hit the Headshot. Sosa ran the ropes and hit another Headshot before covering Eddie for the three count.
Ricky Sosa defeated Eddie Edwards in 11:40.
Afterward, Sosa celebrated his victory. Eddie stood up and shook Sosa’s hand. Eddie picked up Alisha and carried her to the back…
Powell’s view: Who shakes hands with a guy who just Blue Thunder Bombed his wife? Regardless, it was a good opening. The company did the right thing by having the youngest wrestler beat the guard.
The broadcast team went through the pay-per-view programming…
Leon Slater cut a promo during the backstage interview. Slater said he wouldn’t enter the main event to show Nic Nemeth he belonged in his world. Rather, he wants to show that Nemeth is now in Slater’s world. Slater said he is one win away from becoming the youngest TNA World Champion in history, something he said he has been training for since he was nine years old…
Entries for the Division X title game took place…
2. Cedric Alexander vs. KC Navarro vs. Fabian Aichner vs. Rich Swann vs. Ryan Nemeth vs. BDE vs. Amazing Red in a seven-way match for the vacant X Division championship. The bell rang to start the match. Ryan wanted to shake everyone’s hands, but Navarro superkicked him. Navarro hit Aichner with a disguised blessing and had him pinned, but Ryan removed the referee from the ring. Navarro avoided Code Red from the ropes. Red caught Navarro on the ropes. After fighting for position, Red performed a Spanish Fly from the top rope. Red followed up with Code Red and scored the pinfall.
Amazing Red defeated KC Navarro, Cedric Alexander, Fabian Aichner, Rich Swann, Ryan Nemeth and BDE in a seven-way match in 10:30 to win the vacant X Division championship.
Red celebrated his victory then left the ring. Frankie Kazarian came out and punched Red on the entrance ramp…
Powell’s view: I just sat back and watched the spot-fest rather than trying to follow all these moves. It was an entertaining sprint. It was a nice moment for Red, who was inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame about an hour earlier. I’m okay with Red winning, but TNA needs to develop new stars, so I hope he brings up a younger wrestler when he loses the title.
TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth delivered a promo during the backstage interview. Nemeth, who also wore one of TNA’s tag team title belts on his shoulder, said he stole the show wherever he went and was a multiple-time world champion. Nemeth said he knows how great Leon Slater is, but he also knows that no one surpasses him. Nemeth said all Slater had to do was beat the best man in the business. Otherwise, he said Slater should go to the back of the line…
3. Allie and Kiera Hogan vs. Zoey Serrano and Shayna Baszler for the Knockout Tag Team Titles. Both entries were televised. Hannifan said Allie and Hogan have never lost as a team. He said they first teamed up in 2018. He also noted that Allie paid tribute to Andy “The Butcher” Williams.
Baszler played with Allie to start. Both wrestlers were eliminated. Baszler finally made a blind tag before hitting Hogan from behind. Later, Serrano took Allie to the ring steps while Baszler and Hogan fought inside the ring. The commentators brought up the idea that Hogan might have to finish the match without his partner.
Hogan performed a sunset bomb on Serrano. Allie returned to the apron and scored. Allie worked on Serrano then performed Upside Down on Baszler while Hannifan noted that it was a tribute to Rosemary. Allie dropped Serrano and had him pinned, but Baszler broke it up.
Later, Serrano took out Hogan with a knee strike. Allie hit Serrano with a Codebreaker, but Baszler hit Allie with a knee strike. Serrano launched Allie into another strike to the knee of Baszler. The challengers came back and worked on Allie. Baszler choked out Allie for the win…
Zoey Serrano and Shayna Baszler defeated Allie and Kiera Hogan in 8:45 to win the Knockouts tag team titles.
Powell’s view: The right team definitely came through, and the best part is that means this isn’t a one-off appearance for Baszler.
4. Call the gauntlet Your Shot for a chance at any TNA Championship at any time. Entrant #1 was Trey Miguel and Entrant #2 was Avery Styles. Hannifan said no one in the company’s history had ever faced the type of pressure Avery felt. Avery threw a dropkick that seemed to fail, but it acted like it connected.
The third entrant was Bear Bronson, who worked with Miguel and Styles.
Entrant #4 was Frankie Kazarian, who worked with Avery to eliminate Bronson. They were about to confront each other, but they stopped once the countdown started.
Participant #5 was Dutch. Hannifan recalled that The Righteous tried to recruit Harley Hudson on Impact.
Participant #6 was LJ Cleary. I believe I am legally obligated to state that Cleary is engaged to WWE wrestler Lyra Valkyria.
The seventh participant was Gabby Forza. Speaking of loved ones, Gabby and her husband Bear Bronson are both in this game. They came face to face. Forza blocked a punch from Bronson, then worked him over and clothed him while he was pressed against the ropes. Cleary whipped Forza towards Bronson, who took her down with a shoulder block then eliminated Cleary.
Participant #8 was Matthew Rehwoldt. He began to loosen his shirt while boasting in the comments that he would take over. Hannifan wondered why Rehwoldt hadn’t told him. Rehwoldt said he would have passed the news to the newspapers.
Participant #9 was Heather by Elegance. She took out Rehwoldt, who landed on his feet, quickly put on his jacket, then simply sat down and put on his helmet as if nothing had happened. Funny. Hannifan said the shortest person on the list eliminated Rehwoldt.
Participant #10 was Vincent. Rehwoldt continued to act as if nothing had happened. Hannifan wondered if Rehwoldt had lost consciousness.
Entrant #11 was Harley Hudson, who came out and pulled Heather by Elegance out from under the ring. Hudson sent Heather back inside the ring and then followed her. Hudson performed a kick that sent Forza into the crotch of her husband, Bronson.
Participant #12 was AJ Francis. A group of wrestlers unsuccessfully attempted to eliminate Francis.
Participant #13 was Elijah. Francis failed to perform an Alabama Slam, so he went for a chokeslam, but Elijah caught him with a knee strike.
Entrant #14 was the Knockouts TV M champion by Elegance. Both M and Heather wore buccaneer outfits. Heather went for a headscissors takedown on Elijah, who stuffed her then took her down with a tombstone piledriver.
Entrant #15 was Home Town Man. He wore a Tampa Bay Buccaneers jersey to the ring. Francis confronted him while the announcers explained that Francis actually played for the Buccaneers. Bronson eliminated Dutch. Hudson climbed onto Bronson’s back. Bronson put her on the apron and knocked her down, but she fell into Dutch’s arms. Dutch put her back on the apron and she got back in the ring since her feet never touched the ground.
Participant #16 was Brian Myers. Hannifan said this was Myers’ eighth Bound For Glory match and his fourth Call Your Shot Gauntlet match. Hannifan said Myers had the most eliminations in the history of the match with 13.
Participant #17 was Mr. Elegance….
