“SUMMER HOUSE! This will explain everything,” Smalls wrote under Just Jaredreport of their alleged breakup, seemingly alluding to the love triangle drama between Ciara Miller, Amanda Batula And Wilson West on the Bravo series.
Smalls also called Swanepoel a “stabber” in a since-deleted comment, according to multiple media outlets, after a user asked about the status of their longtime friendship, with eagle-eyed fans noticing that the two had already unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Now the Daily Mail reports that the former New England Patriots quarterback is doing his best to stay out of it.
“Tom absolutely does not want to be involved in the feud between Candice and Joan, and he feels like he is caught in the crossfire in a situation that really has nothing to do with him,” a source close to the matter told the outlet in a report on Thursday, October 29.
The source continued, “Whatever tension there is between them is their business, and he doesn’t think it’s fair for him to be dragged into the drama.”
As for Smalls and Brady, a source said Us every week on Wednesday, October 28, that although the couple never made their romance public, they were seeing each other “off and on for about a year between 2023 and 2024” — following his 2022 divorce from Gisele Bundchen.
“It was never very serious, but they dated for a while and always stayed in touch after that,” the source explained. “It wasn’t even necessarily about Tom, but rather that Candice was someone she considered a very close friend. Joan had openly spoken to Candice about Tom and confided in Candice about their relationship.”
A representative for Swanepoel addressed the issue in a statement to We the same day, pointing out that the ‘exceptionally private’ mother of two was focusing on raising her children amid the drama – Swanepoel shares her sons Anacan10, and Ariel8 years old, with an ex Hermann Nicoli.
“She and Joan share a long history and friendship that Candice will always respect,” the model’s rep noted.
Brady, who has children of his own – a son, Benzoin16 years old and her daughter Viviane13 years old, which he shares with Bündchen, 46 years old, and Jack19 years old, whom he fathered with his ex Bridget Moynahan – shares a similar mindset, focusing on his broadcasting career and his children rather than what Daily Mail‘s source was called “schoolyard antics.”
“Tom prefers to keep his distance, let Candice and Joan work out the issues they have between them and refuse to give the situation more oxygen than it deserves,” the source told the outlet.
