OK, there are quite a few caveats to this match – early red card, opponent bunker, whatever – but Spurs cruised to a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday. Of course, Jean-Philippe Mateta’s early sending off helped a lot, but Tottenham scored goals from Archie Gray and Jan Paul van Hecke en route to a totally dominant performance. Spurs also received cameos from Dejan Kulusevski and 18-year-old Luca Williams-Barnett as they climbed to 8th in the table. This is the first three-game winning streak since February 2025 under Ange Postecoglou. Spurs also set a club record for the number of corners in a match with 20, compared to Palace’s 0.
It’s time to evaluate the players.
Rate players 1⁄2 to 5 stars. If the player does not deserve a rating based on minutes played, DO NOT RANK. I’ll round the stars up/down to the nearest half star for player ratings later this week.
