Trump declares Iran a ‘failed nation’ as Operation Epic Fury puts pressure on regime
Trump says Iran has ‘still a little courage’ as Strait of Hormuz oil exports accelerate
President Donald Trump said Thursday that Iran’s “courage” is diminishing as oil exports move out of the Strait of Hormuz.
“Texas, as you have probably heard, is now producing more oil than at any time in its history. And we are distributing that oil all over the world, because when this war ends, it will be very soon,” the president told a crowd in San Antonio.
βItβs a failed nation,β Trump added of Iran. “They have little courage left, but not much, not much. We have extracted more oil from the Strait of Hormuz in the last three nights than at any other time in the history of the Strait. We have extracted more oil.”
Oil prices remain high during the U.S.-Iran war and other conflicts in the Middle East, but the average price of a gallon of gasoline in the United States fell over the past week, from $4.41 to $4.36, according to the latest AAA estimates.
