Trump faces strong bipartisan resistance to Russian diesel import deal

While both parties strongly oppose a deal to import Russian oil, President Donald Trump has defended the deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“The European Union paid Russia $250 billion for energy, and the fake media won’t get anywhere near this story. I did the right thing for the American people,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social Monday morning.
