President Donald Trump said former Michigan Republican U.S. Senate Rep. Mike Rogers “annihilated” Democratic opponent Abdul El-Sayed during a debate Thursday night.
“Mike Rogers, the great American patriot and Michigan Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, completely destroyed Mohammad El-Sayed in tonight’s great debate. If it was a fight, they would have stopped him,” the president said in a Truth Social article published shortly after midnight Friday.
“Mohammad is a crazy jihadist who hates our country, the black people of Detroit, and wants to see the United States fail. Lacking stature, patriotism and truth, Mohammed’s statements have been loaded with lies and deception. I won BIG in Michigan and I know Mike Rogers, a big winner, is the man for you!!!” Trump added.
