Trump’s new AI website said Biden won 2020, then the White House blocked him from responding
The Trump administration has hailed the redesign of its America.gov website as a way to make it easier for Americans to access information and services scattered across a plethora of agency sites, but President Donald Trump likely won’t like some of the responses his new site claims come from government information.
Asking the site – which claims to be AI-sourced from “official government sources” – questions about who won the 2020 election or the name of the federal department that operates out of the Pentagon yields answers contrary to those Trump himself frequently proclaims.
However, while Trump was still speaking at Tuesday’s launch event, the site began to edit his responses. Asked again about the 2020 election, he said he couldn’t answer “political questions,” a response he also gave to inquiries about whether Trump had been impeached or convicted of crimes.

The 2020 presidential election
“Official federal sources do not demonstrate that widespread fraud changed the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. Isolated election crimes did occur and have been prosecuted. »
Since Trump, a Republican, lost the 2020 election to Democrat Joe Biden, he has repeatedly falsely claimed the victory was “stolen” from him and claimed widespread fraud took place. Repeated audits and recounts have found no significant fraud in the presidential election, and Trump’s own administration has declared the election clean.
Trump running for president in 2028
“The 22nd Amendment says no person may be elected president more than twice. Donald J. Trump has already been elected twice (2016 and 2024). I am not giving legal advice.”
Trump has often suggested he wants to run for a third term, posting articles about mounting another campaign, donning the 2028 hat and discussing ways to get there — even though he acknowledged the Constitution prohibits it. He had only been back in the White House a few months when he told NBC News, “There are methods you could” use to run for a third term.

Conservatives and some Republicans in Congress have long sought to roll back what they view as overly restrictive and economically harmful rules to limit greenhouse gases that cause global warming.
Presidential salaries
The chatbot said “some presidents have refused to keep this salary,” mentioning Trump but citing George Washington, Herbert Hoover and John F. Kennedy as having refused their salaries before Trump.
During his speech on Tuesday, Trump, a real estate mogul who cashed in around $1.2 billion from various crypto holdings last year, said he was the first US president to forgo a salary, something he has said before.
