Tyreek Hill is still actively investigating his personal conduct policy
Receiver Tyreek Hill could sign with an NFL team (maybe the Chiefs) very soon. There is an issue beyond the condition of his knee that could impact his availability.
According to the NFL, Hill remains under active review of his personal conduct policy.
The investigation was triggered by the divorce filing initiated by his wife, Keeta Vaccaro. She made specific allegations of domestic violence against Hill.
All the details of his claims were revealed in October 2025.
Hill’s history complicates the situation. Past incidents, including a guilty plea in 2015 assault and battery by strangulation in an incident involving his then-pregnant girlfriend, could result in an enhanced suspension – if the league finds a violation of the personal conduct policy in connection with Vaccaro’s allegations.
The league rarely provides a timeline for personal conduct policy investigations. The case almost always remains unresolved until it suddenly isn’t.
With Hill not playing, there is less urgency to resolve the situation. If he signs with a team, the probe could quickly return to center stage.
