It looks like veteran wide receiver Tyreek Hill may soon have a new home.
Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that he plans to begin negotiating a deal for the eight-time Pro Bowler with several teams on Monday. Schefter noted that one of those teams is the Kansas City Chiefs, who are “very interested” in a reunion with Hill, according to Michael Silver of The Athletic.
“I would expect Tyreek to sign with a team in the next few days,” Rosenhaus told Schefter.
Despite the varied interest, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported Monday that it would be a “surprise” if Hill signed anywhere other than the Chiefs:
Hill is recovering from a devastating left knee injury suffered in Week 4 of the 2025 season, which included a dislocation and multiple torn ligaments, including his ACL. Silver reported that the 32-year-old would “aim for a November return.”
Hill spent the first six seasons of his career in Kansas City and won a Super Bowl in 2019. The Chiefs are currently one of three teams remaining undefeated after improving to 4-0 with Sunday’s win over the Las Vegas Raiders, but injuries to receivers Tyquan Thornton (ankle) and Rashee Rice (hamstring) led them to seek help from one of their former stars.
“As a result of these injuries, the Chiefs have already contacted Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, to express interest,” Silver reported. “They should be happy with the receiver’s recovery, but there probably wouldn’t be any other obstacles on the organization’s side. His tenure in Kansas City ended on reasonably good terms, and people within the organization believe he would fit in well with the current team.”
It appears the Chiefs are the favorites to land Hill, but other teams will surely try to pry him away before he makes his decision later this week.
