Tyson Bagent is capable of playing, but he won’t play.
More precisely, it will not start.
Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reports that Bagent has approved the concussion protocol. However, Case Keenum will start Monday night against the Eagles.
As Glazer explains, Bagent wasn’t able to participate enough in game planning to be ready to start. If, however, Keenum is in difficulty, Bagent could appear in relief.
Obviously, Bagent becomes the primary option as Caleb Williams’ absence due to a hamstring injury continues. Bagent is the preferred replacement, and he nearly scored a late victory against the Vikings after Williams left the game.
