Three adults – two men and a woman – were arrested. Police said two of them, a man and a woman, returned home that evening and found Jones in a bed upstairs. A third man was already inside the house when they arrived and said he didn’t notice anything unusual before Jones was found.
An argument broke out between the three men and Jones was shot, police said. Jones did not appear to know any of the three adults involved, according to investigators.
After reviewing the evidence and speaking with the Henrico County Prosecutor’s Office — the office that decides whether to file criminal charges — police said no charges will be filed at this time.
