While the opposition questions Samuel Hazard about the choice of rental, he justifies the municipality’s position by a financial choice. “We rent because buying is expensive. We do not have dedicated storage space and the equipment quickly becomes obsolete,” he emphasizes, indicating that this also makes it possible to offer new illuminations every year. “People get tired quickly if we don’t change the lights. »

A fairy tale which has a certain cost for the city in terms of clothing and the logistics involved but which does not differ from previous years. “There is no increase. Even if the lighting is LED, we must set an example in energy efficiency. » An argument which concluded with a unanimous vote of elected officials.
