Michael Bisping is a member of the UFC Hall of Fame
Callum Bisping’s father, Michael Bisping, is a UFC Hall of Famer and former UFC middleweight champion.
The Brit first stepped into the Octagon in 2006 after winning season 3 of “The Ultimate Fighter”, which earned him a six-figure contract with the UFC, which was a big deal at the time.

Bisping then fought inside the Octagon from 2006 to 2017, with the highlight of his career coming when he defeated Luke Rockhold via first-round knockout at UFC 199 in June 2016 to win the UFC middleweight championship.
He then successfully defended his title once against Dan Henderson in his first title defense before losing it to UFC legend Georges St-Pierre in his second title defense.
After being brutally knocked out by Kelvin Gastelum in November 2017, a fight he took on short notice after losing to St-Pierre a few weeks earlier, Bisping decided to call it a career.
He has since worked for the UFC as a commentator, as he is one of the promotion’s most trusted analysts in the commentary booth.

“The Count” will no longer fight as he is 47 years old, but he remains an important part of the mixed martial arts community.
As for his son, it remains to be seen what the younger Bisping does next, as he could continue fighting or walk away after this brutal knockout defeat.
