Wahlburgers is saying goodbye to Boston – for now.

The hamburger chain, owned by Marc Wahlberg and his brothers, Donnie Wahlberg And Paul Wahlberghas closed nearly 80 sites since 2025, The United States today reported, with the closing of its last standalone store in the company’s home state: Massachusetts.

The burger chain took to Instagram on Oct. 30 to announce the closing of its last standalone store in Boston’s Fenway Park, writing a message of hope as Wahlburgers look for a new home elsewhere in the city.

“Thank you Fenway. 💚 After 11 years in the neighborhood, our Fenway location will close on October 31st at the end of our lease. We are grateful to everyone who has joined us for game days, celebrations and daily moments over the years. We are actively looking for a new home in the Boston area and hope to have more to share soon,” the message read, giving customers just one day’s notice – similar to the announcement they made during the closing of their very first store in Massachusetts.

But despite Fenway closing, it’s not the end for Wahlburgers. The company highlighted its victories in 2026 and shared its growth plans for the new year, despite major closures at its restaurants around the world.

“In 2026, we added 10 new outlets to our portfolio and expanded our partnerships in hospitality, retail and travel,” the message continues. “And we’re just getting started.”

In 2027, Wahlburgers will open in several new locations, the restaurant said, including the future Oakland Athletics stadium in Las Vegas, the Orleans Hotel & Casino, Bass Pro Shops in California and Colorado, additional food stands at various Home Depot locations and restaurants in Puerto Rico.

“Thank you for being a part of our history, Fenway. We hope to see you before October 31st and are excited for everything that lies ahead,” the message concludes.

As In touch As previously reported, the announcement came just a month after the original Wahlburgers location said goodbye to its loyal customers.

The company’s official Facebook page shared a post on September 29 announcing its sudden closure, revealing that the Hingham, Massachusetts food restaurant would close its doors the following day.

“Thank you for the memories,” the statement begins. “After nearly 15 years, our lease at the Hingham Shipyard is coming to an end and will end on September 30.”

“As the original home of Wahlburgers, Hingham will always hold a special place in our history,” the statement continued. “Even though this location is closing, we are actively looking for a new home in the Boston area and hope to have more to share soon.”

Two other Boston locations of the Wahlburgers chain have closed due to business closures in recent years, NBC10 Boston reported, including its South Bay location in Dorchester and its MarketStreet location in Lynnfield.
