Walmart customers were left very disappointed on Wednesday, as the day before the release of the Zelda-themed Nintendo Switch 2 console, Walmart canceled a number of orders because the retailer was taking too many pre-orders without adequate stock. The major North American retailer has attempted to make amends and is offering those whose pre-order was canceled the opportunity to re-order the console in the next 48 hours. That’s not all as some customers report receiving a $519 Walmart gift card for the inconvenience, essentially making the Zelda-themed Nintendo Switch 2 console free.
