Walmart’s ‘GTA 6’ Pre-Order Bonus Leaked: How to Get the Surprise and Delight Bag
I just found out that pre-ordering a physical copy of GTA6 doesn’t come with a game disc. You probably already knew this, but you just get a case with a digital voucher, meaning you’ll still have to erase a monstrous 210GB of SSD storage and wait for a huge download queue before setting foot in Leonida.
I gave up my console a few years ago (GTA6 might persuade me to come back), so I’m not exactly the most savvy gamer, but it seems a bit silly to me. What convinces buyers to buy a plastic case without a real drive?
Leaks may have provided an answer.
Crushable speed of light
Spotted by transaction tracking account Nintendeals, Walmart apparently posted a product listing promising a free “surprise and delight bag” that comes with every product. GTA6 pre-order ($79.99 at Walmart).

I guess getting free goodies with an $80 purchase that almost never gets discounts on day one is a harmless win.
Walmart has a history here. It offered promotional snack kits including Pringles and Coca-Cola, which came with Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders from last year. Getting a box of chips and promotional stickers isn’t really a compelling reason to buy a plastic case with a paper code inside, but maybe I’m just an old man yelling at a cloud.
If you actually want physical collectible memorabilia, Rockstar sells a separate $400 collector’s box. The 11-piece crate contains personalized Oakley sunglasses, a New Era cap and a physical card of Leonida. But the game itself is sold separately, if you can believe that.
