Shift Up has debuted a new live-action launch trailer for Stellar Blade: Complete Edition on Switch 2, and it’s… well, we have so many questions.
To be honest, the message is clear: take EVE wherever you go, right? It’s a nod to the portable nature of the Switch 2, but why EVE interrupts someone’s gaming session to brush its teeth is a bit strange now, isn’t it?
We’re also a little perplexed as to why the ad opts for the 4:3 aspect ratio. It’s not particularly cinematic or anything, so it doesn’t make much sense.
Despite our questions, it’s a fun little ad. Harmless, you know, and certainly much better than the AI-generated Shift Up slop released to announce its upcoming sequel.
Stellar Blade: Complete Edition is available now on Switch 2. We gave it a 7/10 in our review, praising the combat and exploration, while noting that the visuals and performance aren’t as good as we hoped.
