Ken Urker seemed to be in a dark place before his death.
One day before Gypsy Rose BlanchardGypsy’s boyfriend was found dead in his Louisiana home, he had gone to church with Gypsy’s half-brother Dylan Blanchard and his wife Anita Blanchardthe couple told police after finding her body on October 1.
Dylan and Anita said Ken was at church with them on September 30 at 8:45 p.m. and they became concerned after hearing his state of mind.
“They stated that Mr. Urker stated that he was depressed and upset,” said Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Brandon Smith wrote in a police report obtained by E! News. “They indicated he did a live video on TikTok around 11 p.m. They indicated he just streamed the video while he was driving without him saying anything.”
The couple told authorities that “because of his behavior” and lessons learned from Ken’s boss. Justin Daigle When the 34-year-old failed to show up for work, they all decided to “check on him” around 6 p.m. on Oct. 1, according to the police report.
