Gisele Bündchen made her Victoria’s Secret debut in 1999, at just 19 years old, walking in an ethereal nightgown that flared dramatically behind her – already proving that she was a talented model.

She last walked for the brand in 2006 at their 11th annual show in Hollywood, shortly after ending her contract. Gisele retired from the industry in 2015 and now spends time in Miami Beach with her family.

Miranda Kerr wore an iconic green megaphone

Miranda Kerr first walked the Victoria’s Secret runway in 2006 at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles, carrying a green megaphone emblazoned with the words “Love Pink.” The following year, she officially joined the brand as an Angel.

Six years later, she made her final appearance on the Victoria’s Secret runway, wearing a pretty standout outfit with matching white feathered wings.

Candice Swanepoel made her first appearance on the Victoria’s Secret runway in 2007 and is still active with the brand today.

Tyra Banks officially became an Angel in 1997

She is perhaps best known as the judge of America’s Next Top Model — and the documentary that made headlines — but before that, Tyra Banks was an official Angel starting in 1997. In the mid-’90s, she also made history as one of the brand’s first black contract and catalog cover models.

Tyra walked the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2005 before retiring, only to make a comeback nearly 20 years later for the brand’s 2024 revival show, which she closed.

Alessandra recently returned to the VS podium

Alessandra Ambrosio made her debut at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2000 and initially retired from the catwalk in 2017 after a show in Shanghai.
