At first, the woman seemed to think he left because of his appearance. But she wasn’t alone when he arrived. Three other people were already with her, and this detail quickly became the main topic of discussion.
A video shared by the TikTok account @206315e5 shows the woman’s story as well as a man’s reaction. Although she seemed confused as to why her date left, the commenter thought the reason was obvious.
This wasn’t what he expected
In the clip, the woman recalls how quickly her date ended. “He left me 30 seconds after seeing my face,” she explains.
According to her account, the man approached her and told her he was going to the bathroom. However, he never returned.
She then reveals that she was with her friend Francesca, Francesca’s boyfriend, and another man named Nick when he showed up.
“So it’s not the best look, situation-wise,” she admits. She also suggests that he approached unexpectedly, giving her little time to react.
The man apparently arrived expecting a one-on-one date, but found himself faced with an unexpected double date. Whether he misunderstood the arrangement or simply didn’t like it, he chose not to stay.
The male commentator has little sympathy for the woman’s confusion. “It really confuses me when people don’t know why someone did something,” he begins.
He points out that the two had agreed to go out together, but the man arrived to find a group of strangers. “Not only is this a group of people he doesn’t know, but it looks like you’re all already on a double date,” the commenter argues.
