World of Warcraft Forever is only days away and Blizzard has confirmed global release times and preload details.

WoW Forever launches on November 4th with a global release planned, meaning everyone will be able to start playing at the same time, no matter where they are. This is extremely important in an MMO like WoW, because it means that one region can’t go much further than another.

World of Warcraft Forever Global Release Times

Since World of Warcraft Forever has a global release, all you need to do is check out its official release time, 3 p.m. PST, and convert it to your own time zone. However, due to the nature of a global release, depending on where you are in the world, the game will launch on November 4th or 5th.

  • Los Angeles: 3:00 p.m. PST
  • Mexico: 5:00 p.m. CST
  • New York: 6:00 p.m. EST
  • Brazil: 8 p.m. BRT
  • London: 23:00 GMT
  • Beijing: 7:00 a.m. CST (November 5)
  • Seoul: 8:00 a.m. KST (November 5)
  • Tokyo: 8:00 a.m. JST (November 5)
  • Melbourne: 10:00 AEST (November 5)

World of Warcraft Forever preload details

World of Warcraft Forever is available for pre-load now. Simply open or download the Battle.net launcher, then WoW Forever should appear in the “Favorites” bar by default. If not, go to “Games,” then search for “World of Warcraft.” Next, click on the WoW icon, navigate to “game version” and make sure “WoW Forever” is selected, then press the big blue “Install” button.

Once downloaded, you will be able to log in when the servers go live on November 4th at 3pm PST.

How much space will you need for World of Warcraft Forever?

According to Blizzard’s system requirements, World of Warcraft Forever will need at least 128 GB of available space, but I’d actually reserve a bit more. Like any version of WoW, hundreds of mods will be available from day one, and unless you’re looking to play the game entirely with the default UI, you’ll want to make sure you have some space for add-ons. I would recommend setting aside at least 150 GB for Forever, just in case. Also note that Blizzard is specifically referring to an SSD rather than a hard drive.

Minimum system requirements for World of Warcraft Forever:

  • Processor: ‘4 cores, 3 GHz processor (Intel Haswell or Ryzen Zen)” – think Intel Core i5 4460 / AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • GPU: “4GB GPU compatible with DirectX 12, GTX 10 series or RDNA 1” – Think Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 / AMD Radeon RX 5600
  • Storage: 128 GB SSD

Recommended PC requirements for World of Warcraft Forever:

  • Processor: ‘8 performance cores, 5.2 GHz boost clock; Intel Core Ultra (series 2) or AMD Ryzen Zen 5’ – think Intel Core Ultra 5 265K / AMD Ryzen 5 9600X
  • RAM: 16 GB
  • GPU: ‘DirectX 12 compatible 8 GB GPU; Nvidia RTX 40 Series/AMD RDNA 3/Intel Arc B-Series” – think Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 / AMD Radeon RX 7600 / Intel Arc B570
  • Storage: 128 GB SSD
