East any console worth that sum? I think this is a question worth asking. As it stands, the next generation is totally mired in uncertainty – or even outright negativity, depending on your point of view regarding Sony’s decision to kill physical discs and such.
If anything, This This generation has shown us that our favorite pastime risks becoming prohibitive. The price of the PS5 has increase over time thanks to the same component crisis that threatens his successor.
Sony has also been offering more expensive accessories and peripherals than ever before, in an effort to make as much money as possible from individual sales. The same goes for software.
I think it’s really hard to imagine a console generation even more expensive than this one – but all the evidence points to this being exactly what we’ll get when the PS6 comes out. Many people will be priced out at launch and likely well beyond.
