More details regarding the WWE Worlds Collide live event.
On this week’s WWE SmackDown, the company confirmed a Fightful Select scoop by announcing that the show would not air live. Instead, the show will be available exclusively on YouTube on September 30 at 7 p.m. ET.
Fightful Select provided more details regarding this decision.
“WWE’s decision not to broadcast Worlds Collide live was made in an effort to impact AEW All Out ticket sales in the Chicago area, @FightfulSelect has learned. WWE sources admitted that AEW sold better than expected, although they were still happy with Worlds Collide sales. The decision to hold off on a live broadcast was made in early August.”
