From October 26 to 31, the Xbox ecosystem and Xbox PC service will benefit from a major expansion of their catalog, including the release of 50 new games for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. The addition of three titles directly to the subscription catalog is particularly interesting for the public. Xbox Game Pass on their official debut day. The week’s releases kick off with the atmospheric, silent horror quest Ayasa: Shadows of Silence and the cooperative restaurant development simulator PAO PAO, followed by a series of projects spanning a wide range of genres, from classic platformers to complex construction and survival simulators.
Central among Tuesday and Thursday’s premieres will be anticipated projects from the service’s Game Pass library, as well as re-releases of acclaimed classics. On Tuesday, subscribers will have access to the supernatural crime thriller The Séance of Blake Manor, in which players will investigate the disappearance of a man during a Victorian Séance. On Thursday, the subscription catalog will include the psychological space horror Mouthwashing, about the survival of the crew of a crashed freighter, and the dynamic adventure parkour action game Terrible Lizards. On the same day, the console release of the wild hunting simulator Hunting Simulator 3 and the expanded re-release of the cult detective novel The Wolf Among Us Remastered will take place, offering updated graphics, modern sound design and a special monochrome cinematic mode called Noir Mode.
The final October releases also include a slate of indie titles, including neo-Giallo psychological horror Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy, nostalgic 2D arcade action game Fallen City Brawl, hardcore roguelike shooter with culinary elements Sulfur, and the return of platformer Croc 2: Kingdom of the Gobbos. Later this week, players will be able to try the dark night simulator Corner Shop: NightShift, Metroidvania Ex Master, Zombie and classic arcade and puzzle game collections. This tight release schedule confirms the platform provider’s strategy of regularly expanding its catalog with both big-budget new releases and niche indie titles to attract a wider audience.
