Nintendo has just released a new trailer for its Zelda: Ocarina of Time which reviews everything new in the remake on Switch 2. This comes ahead of the launch on November 5, 2026.

To quickly recap, Nintendo has implemented a number of new features and extras. As a quick overview, the game features running, jumping, gyroscopic aiming, reimagined visuals, fully voiced cutscenes, the ability to play songs using the Nintendo Switch 2’s built-in microphone, Threads of Time, and Hall of Fallen Heroes. All this is shown in today’s video.

We also have the following information:

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time invites you to put yourself at the center of an epic adventure as you join Link on a journey of growth and discovery across the kingdom of Hyrule. Accompanied by a guiding fairy named Navi, you will meet living characters, battle fierce monsters, and use your cunning to overcome obstacles in search of the mythical Triforce – and to save Hyrule from falling into darkness!

The key to this adventure lies in the ocarina, with its powerful melodies capable of stirring space and time and leading Link to a new destiny. In this completely reborn version of the game, you’ll be able to introduce a bit of the magic of the ocarina into your real world. Hum a melody that Link has learned or even play one on a real instrument, and the Nintendo Switch 2 microphone will hear your song and make Link’s ocarina respond in-game! This reborn version also features the Hall of Fallen Heroes, a place where statues of defeated monsters reside. Venture there to learn more about them or engage them in a rematch battle!

This new version of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time also features revamped visuals, fully voiced cutscenes with expanded dialogue, and full symphonic orchestral music!

The game also supports Zelda Notes, a service available in the Nintendo Switch app for compatible smart devices that lets you get even more out of your adventure. There will also be two new The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time amiibo figures launching in 2027, which will unlock special masks in the game – existing amiibo figures from the Legend of Zelda series will also provide useful rewards when used during gameplay!
