Alex Pereira set to face heavyweight knockout artist in UFC 335 co-main event
Alex Pereira’s next fight was announced at UFC 332 on Saturday night.
The former two-weight champion has not fought since suffering a controversial second-round TKO loss to Ciryl Gane at UFC Freedom 250 in June.
“Poatan” demanded an immediate rematch after being shot in the back of the head at the White House, but Ciryl Gane was instead booked to face Josh Hokit at UFC 334.

Alex Pereira vs. Sergei Pavlovich set for UFC 335
Earlier this week, Dana White revealed plans to confirm Alex Pereira’s next fight during a UFC 332 KICK live stream.
The UFC CEO stayed true to his word when he spoke with internet celebrity Nina Drama in Salt Lake City, Utah.
White confirmed that the rumors about a fight between Alex Pereira and Sergei Pavlovich are true.
The heavyweight duo will meet in the co-main event of UFC 335, which will go down over five rounds.
“There will be five rounds in the co-main event,” White said.
“Alex Pereira: 11 of his 13 victories are by knockout. He will face Sergei Pavlovich.”
Who else is fighting at UFC 335?
Sean Strickland was scheduled to defend his middleweight title against Nassourdine Imavov in the main event of UFC 335.
The American fan favorite recently revealed that he is currently discussing his salary for the fight, but that it won’t happen until 2027.
BMF Charles Oliveira will defend his belt against Diego Lopes in the main event of UFC 335.
A middleweight clash between Bo Nickal and Joe Pyfer has also been confirmed for the card.
Former flyweight champion Brandon Moreno will also compete at T-Mobile Arena.
He will face Charles Johnson in a battle between two of the most exciting 125-pound stars on the UFC roster.
