Congratulations to Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse!
The Victoria’s Secret Angel gave birth to her and their first child together, a baby girl, on September 7, she announced via Instagram on Monday.
“We took Labor Day literally this year,” Palvin, 32, wrote alongside a photo of herself, Sprouse, 34, and their newborn wearing Los Angeles Dodgers jerseys.
The couple announced in May that they were starting a family, with the model making her red carpet debut at the Cannes Film Festival.
Palvin and the former Disney Channel star shared the gender of their little one two months later during the first episode of the latter’s “Wildmen” podcast with friend Brendan Columbus.
“We’re having a little girl, which I’m very excited about,” Sprouse exclaimed in July. “I’m thrilled to be a girl dad, actually… I unironically love tea parties.”
His wife predicted that having a daughter would “mellow down” the “Suite Life of Zack and Cody” alum because he would only be “stressed” about parenting.
Palvin noted that they went back and forth on names, but had named their child “principessa,” which means princess in Italian, while awaiting her arrival.
She continued to document her pregnancy progress via Instagram, from car selfies to July 4 party photos.
Palvin and Sprouse have been together since 2018 – but met the year before at a party.
The “Suite Life on Deck” alum proposed in September 2022, waiting until the following summer to share the news.
The couple walked down the aisle in July 2023 in the bride’s native Hungary.
The year before announcing her pregnancy, Palvin went public with her endometriosis struggles — and shared more about it in a May cover story for “L’Beauté.”
“It made me more aware and more patient with myself,” she told the magazine. “I learned that you can’t ignore what your body tells you; if something isn’t right, don’t ignore it.”
Palvin added: “It has changed the way I take care of myself and made me place a lot more importance on my health. »
Elsewhere in the interview, she praised the “calmness and sense of humor” her partner brought into her life.
“We understand each other’s world, but we also keep things super normal at home, which I think is important,” she explained in May. “
“The best part is having someone who really supports you, but also keeps you grounded,” Palvin continued at the time. “We balance each other out.”
