It’s that time of year again: Halloween, which means a trick-or-treat bag full of celebrity costumes ranging from scary to cute to pop culture reference.

That includes the usual suspects, stars who have long flaunted their love of the holiday with increasingly elaborate looks. Paris Hilton returned with another Halloween tribute to her friend and pop icon Britney Spears – which she premiered in photos shared exclusively with Billboard – as well as a wholesome family costume borrowed from a beloved Disney princess movie. Janelle Monáe also pulled out all the stops once again ahead of her annual Wondaween festival, and a sort of sartorial triangle emerged between Kim Kardashian, her daughter North West and Natalie Nunn.

As for costumes specifically honoring something that happened in 2026, Owen Thiele and Benito Skinner are arguably the favorites with a two-man look that recreated one of the year’s most buzzed-about pop collaborations. (Whether you’re a celebrity or not, there’s still time to create a 2026-specific Halloween look – here are some ideas Billboard put up recently referencing Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl performance, Taylor Swift watching the New York Knicks and more.)

While the next few days will bring more and more things leading up to the main event on Saturday (October 31), Billboard keeps track of all the best celebrity looks.
